Network for Teaching Entreprenurship hosted our Academies @ Roxborough Business students for a field trip today. Students attended seminars and visited Guru Technologies.
Forensic Mentoring Institute
Academies @ Roxborough Biotechnology students attended a field trip to the Forensic Mentoring Institute. Students participated in a lab to identify drugs and blood samples from a crime scene.
Academies @ Roxborough Visits Longwood Gardens
Students Participated in the Biodiversity, Adaptations & Biomes program at Longwood Gardens this week. They were guided on a tour of Science in the Garden. Students from the VAP Academy traveled through Longwood’s four-acre Conservatory to experience the characteristics of different biomes. Identify specific adaptations and explore diverse plant species surviving in unique environments.
Students Visit West Chester University
Academies @ Roxborough English students along with Mrs. Yacker attended a field trip to West Chester University. Students were there to see a performance of the play Antigone a Greek tragedy. Students were treated to lunch by the university, and were also given a campus tour and College swag to take home. …
