The Philadelphia ELECT program provides a comprehensive network of education, health and support services designed to assist pregnant and parenting students in completing their education and preparing for success after high school/GED. SERVICES FOR PREGNANT & PARENTING STUDENTS You Can Participate if:
- You are expecting a baby (student of any gender)
- You are parenting
- You are in-school/GED
- You are under 22 years of age
- *If you are under 22, a parent, and need help returning to school, please call for info.
ELECT Program Supports We offer a variety of services and activities that are tailored towards the student’s needs and goals, including: •
- Academic and Attendance Support
- Workshops covering more than 100 topics including parenting, pregnancy, child development, health and nutrition, and college/career readiness
- Individual and Group Support Services
- Job readiness and Career Planning
- Home and Community Visits
- Connections with Community Resources
- Access to Child Care, Uniform, and Transportation Resources
- Parent-Child Engagement and Enrichment Field Trips
- Car Seat Safety and Loan Program
- Safe Sleep Workshops (free Pack ‘n Play)
- ELECT Baby Bucks and Boutique Incentive Program for Baby and Personal Care Items
