Philadelphia Water Department visits Academies @ Roxborough

PWD visited Mrs. Ragazzino’s Environmental science class with a water table demonstration.  Students were actively involved in discovering how our water supply system began, how we keep it safe and clean, and what happens to all the water that goes down the drain or runs off our streets, sidewalks and rooftops.  PWD representative brought a water table to the classroom to demonstrate these concepts for the students and allowed them to participate in using the water table pictured below.
