Mrs. Raggazino’s science classes were treated to a visit from nature this week.  The class was visited by a live screech owl, crow and possum with a representative from Philly Metro Wildlife Center.

Mrs. Fidrych sponsored a Freshman Spanish Trip to LaSalle University. The freshman were able to meet with professors, current students, and alum to discuss the benefits of studying Spanish at the college level. The group went on a campus tour and enjoyed lunch from the cafeteria before heading back!

Students Participated in the Biodiversity, Adaptations & Biomes program at Longwood Gardens this week.  They were guided on a tour of Science in the Garden.  Students from the VAP Academy traveled through Longwood’s four-acre Conservatory to experience the characteristics of different biomes. Identify specific adaptations and explore diverse plant species surviving in unique environments.
