JROTC LEADERSHIP PATHWAY

The JROTC Leadership Pathway is a 3-4 year program is designed to provide instruction for cadets and participants that instills the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self discipline, as well as enabling students to meet their goals for success.

The purpose and mission statement of the JROTC Leadership Pathway is: “To motivate young people to be better citizens.” It prepares high school students for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens. The program is a stimulus for promoting graduation from high school, expanding the world view to include seeing things from a leader’s point of view, and providing cadets with rewarding opportunities that will benefit the our cadets, the community, and nation as they begin learning about their role in society and the governing of our nation..

JROTC prepares high school students for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of the benefits of citizenship, recognizing human and civil rights of all nations and the civil responsibility and process of helping to create social change. Classroom and outside activities, including service learning projects, continuous improvement projects, community engagement and educational community support allow opportunities to acquire the knowledge, discipline, and sense of responsibility that are necessary to take charge of one’s future and accomplish their desired goals and dreams. The high level of esprit de corps builds relationships and a team player mentality, which they carry into their young adult years. The JROTC Leadership Pathway produces cadets who are confident, independent thinkers, and mindful leaders who can articulate their ideas and opinions clearly and concisely. Currently, our 5 year average is 97% of our graduates continue on to college, several have graduated to own their own businesses, with 3% of our graduates enlisting into military service.
