Lindback Distinguished Teacher 2019
Please join the administrative team in congratulating Mr. Frank Fesnak as our 2018-2019 Lindback Distinguished Teacher of the Year! Mr. Fesnak is most deserving of this honor and we are proud to have him represent the Academies @ Roxborough High School as the Lindback award winner. Congratulations Mr. Fesnak and thank you for your outstanding service to our students!
Mr. Fesnak teaches at The Academies @ Roxborough High School in the Academy of Business Technology and Entrepreneurship. Prior to teaching, Frank Fesnak enjoyed tremendous success within the private sector, working with Xerox, IBM, Unisys, and several technology startup companies. After 29 years, however, Fesnak decided to use his real-world experience and expertise to benefit young people. In 2010, Fesnak entered the classroom. Since then, he has taught a variety of classes in mathematics, business, and technology.

Since 1961, the foundation has been recognizing outstanding faculty members at colleges and universities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching. Currently 52 institutions of higher learning are participating in the program. Peruse the curriculum vitae of Lindback Award recipients and you will note that the award is mentioned proudly and prominently, attesting to the universal prestige associated with the honor.”
