Trip to African American Museum of History and Culture

Students traveled to Washington DC to the African American Museum of History and Culture as a unique opportunity to view African American History and Literature in context to the Real World. Students observed History and Literature through the lens of race in America but also as disciplines that interact and come together to portray a fuller, more accurate story of real life events and stories.
