Mural Arts @ The Academies @ Roxborough
Students in the science program at The Academies @ Roxborough participated with Mural Arts program and artist Ben Volta to create three murals in the school. Students in the Biology and Chemistry classes explored visual representation of elements. The center piece of the displays is on the ceiling of the Cafeteria incorporating multiple students artwork in the overall design. There is also a DNA mural in the science wing on the third floor and a completely student created mural in the hallway leading to the STEAM lab.
