Biotech students Lab Tour

Academies @ Roxborough High School Biotech students did a shadow day with one of our OAC industry partners at Charles River Laboratories in Horsham Pa. these students are interested in careers in Biomedical Sciences.

In attendance: Mr. Thomas , Grace Lochten, Sherika Stennett, Asia Harris

Students participated in a meet a greet of the Lab Staff including: Manager(Joan Glass) Supervisor(Matt Schoell), In-life tech(Mike Mason), Animal Care( Jamie Hasson), Necropsy  Trainer(Karen Richmond-Mato) they also toured the individual labs.  Students are also applying for internship positions at the labs for the summer.
