NHS Sponsors Blood Drive

Mrs. Henshaw and Nasir after donating blood at Roxborough HSMrs. McFadden along with the National Honor Society students from the Academies @ Roxborough sponsored the Blood Drive with the Red Cross.  “School and students help the Red Cross fulfill its mission of ensuring the availability of a safe and reliable blood supply. Patients in the community and across the nation receive the gift of life.”  Students, teachers and the community are able to donate blood right at the school to help others in need.

We had the most successful blood drive since working with the Red Cross – 38 appointments and 29 collected units!!!
